Egg Carton Insects . . . Small children crafts
What you'll Need:
- Egg Cartons
- Paints, either water colors or acrylics in desired colors
- Pipe Cleaners, desired colors
Instructions:
One square of an egg carton can be used to make an ant, a lady bug, a spider etc. Several
hooked together makes a good caterpillar. Let the children use their own choice of colors. They
may paint faces and make any design they wish. Use the pipe cleaners to create feelers and legs
to complete their creation. It's fun to see the results when a child is left to use their creativity.
They will LOVE it!
After they are done they can take their creatures and pretend that they are butterflies
lilting around in the garden getting sweet nectar from the flowers, or pretend to be the bug
crawling around the garden.
