Snow Flakes That Sparkle
Easy enjoyable
releases of creativity. Fun for all ages.
Make them from white paper (copy paper).
Draw around a plate for a large size circle.
Cut this out and fold it in half.
Divide this half circle into three equal pie-shaped parts.
Fold the end sections over to make one triangle. Then fold once
more through the middle to form a narrow triangle.
Now you are ready to cut.
The point of this triangle will become the center of the snowflake.
Hold the folds firmly together and cut away pieces from the sides.
(Shown by the dark parts in the large diagram.)
Cut freely. No two snowflakes are exactly alike, so be creative.
Open each paper snowflake flat on newspaper.
Paint the side with shellac or spray with paint.
While still wet, sprinkle with glitter.
When dry, turn and do the, other side.
Spangles may also be glued on to add to the sparkle when they
hang in the light.
