Santa Jar
Easy enjoyable
releases of creativity. Fun for all ages.
This gift is so easy to make and is fun to give. I don't know about you, but I like to give
homemade gifts, it's just finding the time. This doesn't take much time and it brings joy!
You will need:
A glass or plastic jar (wide-mouthed mayonnaise, fruit, pickle peanut butter etc.). It turns out a
little cuter if the jar is see-through. You could purchase an unusual jar, if you really want
to spend the money.
Felt scraps or cloth (I have used white fake fur for the beard.
Glue
A white or red sock trimmed with a contrasting ball fringe. (The sock will serve as a lid as well
as decorative cap.
NOTE: You could also make a hat out of a red plush or felt by making a cone shape and
gluing
the edges together. The variations are as broad as your imagination such as buttons for the eyes,
mouth and nose. Kids have a fun time creating their own version of Santa.)
Fill the jar with Pink Popcorn, Peanuts, Cookies, Candy, Pretzels, anything that you can think of
as a fun Christmas treat.
