Pink Popcorn
The proper ingredients are always important. Here is what you'll need to complete the task.
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup half and half, cream, or milk
1 Tbsp. White corn syrup
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp vanilla
Red food coloring (or any color you choose really) as desired
Cook until slightly firm ball (230 degrees)
You can also check this by getting a cup of cold water, dripping a drop of the liquid into the cup
and then feeling it with your fingers as soon as it stays together and forms a soft ball, it is right.
Pour slowly over 6 quarts of popped popcorn, stirring continuously to spread the topping over all
of the popcorn. Pour onto waxed paper, on the table, to cool. BE CAREFUL, this is hot and if
you tough the topping while hot, can burn.
(Sorry this is a sugar treat, for sugar free, it's better to go with regular popcorn sprinkled with a
seasoning)
