Easy Peanut Butter Cups

These are fun for Christmas as well as Birthday parties, Easter, any special occasion.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cube margarine, melted

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar, fructose or Splenda

  • 1 pkg. Dark or Semi-sweet Chocolate chips melted.

Instructions:

  • Coat miniature baking cups (you can use jiggler or candy molds to make shapes), with chocolate thick enough to cover cup color. Use back of spoon.

  • Put in freezer to set the chocolate.

  • Fill with peanut butter mixture. Press evenly in chocolate cups.

  • Top with chocolate using back of spoon.

  • Tips for melting chocolate: Use low heat. If you are using a microwave. Place the chips into a bowl and melt for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each 30 seconds, until the chocolate is melted. Do not over cook, the chocolate will then separate and harden.
