Easter Egg Dying Ideas
Dying eggs at Easter time is a big
tradition with a lot of people. It's fun to try something a little different, at
times though. Here are some ideas that might be just the thing for your family
to try.
Striped and Checked eggs
What you'll Need:
Hard-boiled white eggs
Rubber bands or masking tape
Easter egg dye
Instructions:
Arrange the rubber bands or masking
tape securely on the egg where you want stripes or checks.
Dip the egg into dye and let sit for
a few minutes. Set aside dn let it dry.
Remove rubber bands or tape.
Marbled Eggs
What you'll Need:
Hard-boiled white eggs
6" square piece of thin cloth for
each egg
Eyedropper
Easter egg dye
Instructions:
Wrap egg in cloth and tie rubber
bands tightly around each end.
Drop spots of one color of dye at a
time onto cloth-wrapped egg. Rinse out eyedropper before changing colors. Repeat
the process with the next color, and so on. Use 2,3 or more colors, as desired.
