Decorator Envelopes

These are simple enough for children to make and a lot of fun too. Mom will also find it fun to come up with interesting envelopes. Use your creativity and come up with new versions, such as the Turkey envelopes. Make the envelopes out of wrapping paper, paper sacks, foil, almost anything. You can create an envelope to go with any occasion, just add a special note and you're set. Cut out the pattern with the following dimensions: Finished size 10" X 7 1/2". Width wise, the flaps are each 3/4" and the center section is 5 3/4". Lengthwise, there are three sections. The top section measures 3", center section measures 4 1/2", bottom section measures 2 1/2". Make your pattern using the above dimensions, cut out, fold in flaps and 2 1/2" section. Glue the 2 1/2" section to the flaps. That's all there is to it!
