Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. milk, scalded then cooled to lukewarm
- 1 t. honey
- 2 T. vegetable oil
- 1 t. salt
- flour
- grated parmesan cheese
- herbs: thyme, oregano
- minced onion, sautéed in margarine

Instructions:
Sprinkle dry yeast on lukewarm water. Let stand five min. Add milk. Stir in 4 c. flour. Beat well.
Let stand 10 min. Knead dough well, adding flour as necessary until dough is medium stiff. Let rise
until doubled in bulk. Divide dough into four portions. Roll each portion into a long, oval shape,
1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with cheese and herbs. Starting with long edge, roll ovals up and seal, to
form loaves. Loaves may be form by braiding long narrow rolls, or however desired. Sprinkle
sautéed onions on top of loaves if desired. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 40 min. until brown.
